Adult Therapy and Counselling
in Vancouver

Adults come to therapy for anxiety, low mood, trauma, a hard transition, or a pattern they have not been able to shift on their own. Our psychologists and registered clinical counsellors offer individual therapy in person at our Mount Pleasant office and by secure video across BC.

What individual therapy looks like

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and typically weekly. Your clinician starts with what brought you in and matches the approach to your situation, instead of applying one protocol to everyone.

Our team works from a strengths-based view of mental health. You do not need a diagnosis, or to be in crisis, for therapy to be useful.

Approaches we use

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): for anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, and structured behaviour change.
  • EMDR: for trauma, PTSD, and stuck patterns rooted in distressing experience.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): for values-based change, chronic pain, and rigid thought patterns.
  • Psychodynamic and relational therapy: for identity, attachment, and the patterns that show up across relationships.
  • Somatic and integrative approaches: for when the body's signals matter as much as the story.
