Psychodiagnostic Assessments

PSYCHODIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT is an assessment that clients might ask for:

  • to determine a psychological diagnosis (ruling ‘in’ or ruling ‘out’ a particular psychological or psychiatric disorder or diagnosis)
  • to understand themselves and their personality more fully
  • to help to give a focus for their own reading, personal development or to be assistive in their counselling process
  • to help them to appreciate their own strengths and

The Psychodiagnostic Assessment’s purpose is to answer questions and define issues that affect a client’s: academics, mental health status, life satisfaction & relationships. When a focus of the assessment is to determine whether a psychological diagnosis is appropriate, clients might be seeking to discover whether their profile meets the criteria for one or more of the following:

  • ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder / attention deficit disorder)

  • anxiety, depression

  • PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

  • OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)

  • etc

And can provide ‘workarounds’, remediation, and future treatment or growth options. For example:

  • Whether medication is an option

  • What psychological treatment options are available

  • Whether Accommodations are available and recommended at school / university / occupational environments

  • When appropriate, what readings, courses, podcasts, etc they might want to access to further their own knowledge or personal growth

The process of the PsychoDiagnostic Assessment is as follows:
Price: $1,500.00, which includes:
  • 75-90-min ‘Intake’ Session 
  • Completion of self-report symptom and   (and sometimes an observer report is completed when there is a close family member, co-worker or partner who can speak to what they observe with regard to your patterns and symptoms)
  • Scoring and tabulation of results
  • 1:1 Feedback session to discuss results
  • Summary report with the findings & recommendations
 
The Fee Schedule is:
$300 (at the time of booking)
$600 due at the Intake Session
$600 due at the Feedback Session
